Welcome to The Inn at Ellsworth Estate.
What a busy and wonderful year!!! We had guests from all over the States as well as 5 different Countries. Some came to ski our wonderful trails, some were passing through on their way to Stanley for a whitewater rafting trip, some for business, some came to attend a wedding or meet with family or to fish our wonderful rivers & streams and the famous Silver Creek, some to mountain bike or horse ride on the numerous trails, and some just to relax. Summer or winter, this place is close to Heaven!
We would like to thank you all for choosing us for your stay in the beautiful Sun Valley area.
Our guests have enjoyed a lovely place and good food with fresh fruit marinated in my gourmet vanilla, savory dishes made with spinach or zucchini, and something special at the end for the sweet tooth. A wonderful sample is my Cream Cheese Coffee Cake. Be sure and check for the recipe on the menu page.
The 2010 ski season started with snow on Nov 8th and continued through Dec 30th totaling about 3 feet! The ski hills opened by Thanksgiving and our guests have come to enjoy the winter activities. The snow is still great! Book your room now and come downhill ski, Nordic ski, or even ski-skate. Even if you don't ski, come to enjoy our area. The Gondola on River Run will take you up to the newly re-opened Roundhouse (make your reservations early) for a wonderful dinner, you can drive up Warm Springs and see the elk before taking a dip in the hot springs, or snowshoe out Quigley Canyon.
The Inn is the perfect setting to read a book or enjoy a glass of wine or brandy sitting beside one of the two fireplaces on the main floor. The Sunroom is also a favorite. With the large windows facing the south, the sun shines in most of the day. We now have a piano to enjoy also.
We will be offering a "slack special" in the fall. We will be offering a two night stay, discounted price and it will include dinner Friday or Saturday night. (Call for details)
Stop by for a cup of coffee or tea and a tour of the Inn. The main floor of the Inn is available to rent for parties (no room rentals are required).
Check through our website and see all that is new. We are excited about the changes and looking forward to the next year.
Remember to book your events for this coming late summer and fall. BBQ's, weddings, family reunions, corporate get-aways, etc. We still have dates available and can book with special rates! We also have special rates if you want to book the entire Inn for a private party, a week-long event or something in between.
